Reading Passage 2
This is Reading Passage 2 of 15. Each passage uses the Dolch Sight Words and each gets progressively more difficult. Use these reading passages as assessments for evaluating student performance and achievement with ESL students and in kindergarten and elementary classrooms. Speed is not the goal of the assessment, but rather the ability to read fluently and with understanding should be emphasized. Once the passage is complete, ask the student to retell the story in his/her own words.
